Wellbeing

Student Wellbeing is central to everything we do.

Empower. Challenge.

Engage. Connect.

We are committed to creating and maintaining a positive learning environment where every student feels safe, supported, known and valued. We believe students learn best when they are appropriately challenged and supported to reach their individual potential.

Strong relationships are at the heart of student wellbeing. When students feel connected to their peers, families and the wider community, they are happier and develop a stronger sense of purpose and meaning in their lives. These connections empower students to grow into the best versions of themselves.

Wellbeing is fundamental to learning. Our Wellbeing for Learning framework supports and challenge students to develop the social and emotional skills needed to thrive both at school. Through this framework, students build the knowledge and confidence to become active, responsible and contributing members of their future communities.

Students are recognised and celebrated for demonstrating positive learning behaviours, caring for others and contributing to a safe, respectful, and inclusive community. They are encouraged to develop leadership skills and become active contributors within the school and wider community.

Each year, students have the opportunity to nominate for a range of leadership positions, including School Captain, House Leader and the Student Representative Council (SRC).

Our highly qualified staff work closely with families and carers to support each student's social, emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing, ensuring they are equipped to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
